Russian army shells Kherson, two people wounded

In Kherson, local residents - an 86-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man - were injured during shelling by the Russian army, and two student volunteers from Rivne were also hit by enemy fire.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"This afternoon, the Russian army fired at a residential building. Two people were injured in their own yard as a result of the enemy attack," the message says.

As noted, an 86-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man are in serious condition, and doctors are fighting for their lives.

Also, student volunteers from Rivne who were helping Kherson residents came under enemy fire. These are two young men, 25 and 23 years old. They have moderate injuries, and doctors are providing them with medical care.

As Ukrinform reported, the Russian army fired 79 times at Kherson region over the past day, June 21, and three people were wounded. The enemy was shelling Kherson around the clock.
