Together with its allies, Britain will maintain support for Ukraine's counteroffensive – Sunak

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated this in his opening address at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Together with our allies we will maintain our support for Ukraine's defense and for the counteroffensive, and we'll stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes as they continue to win this war," the British Prime Minister said.

He assured that support for Ukraine will continue to stand with Ukraine “as they [Ukrainians] win the peace and harness all their ingenuity and defiance to build the future they deserve.”

He added that the support on the battlefield and beyond will not stop and that the incredible spirit of Ukraine will win.

As reported by Ukrinform, the international Ukraine Recovery Conference is held in London on June 21-22.
