Russian army shells Kherson region 39 times in 24 hours, injuring three

Yesterday, on June 12, the Russian army fired 39 times at the Kherson region, injuring three people.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy made 39 attacks over the last day, launching 177 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy launched eight shells at the city of Kherson," said Prokudin.

The Russian military hit residential areas of the region's settlements, a pre-school and a shop building in Kherson.

Prokudin emphasized that two people died due to the flooding of Kherson. Three people were injured as a result of hostile shelling.

As Ukrinform reported, two more people died in Kherson due to flooding. An unidentified woman and a 50-year-old man were found in one of the city's districts.
