Two people, including child, injured in Odesa due to Russian attack

Two people, including a 3.5-year-old girl, were wounded in Odesa as a result of an attack by Russian drones.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.

“The enemy attacked civilian and port infrastructure in the Odesa region with strike drones. Unfortunately, two people were injured – a 3.5-year-old girl and a 44-year-old man. Both were hospitalized in moderate condition. They are receiving all necessary medical care,” the statement said.

Port tanks and a construction crane, the facade and windows of a residential building, cars, and a medical facility were damaged. A kindergarten building was also destroyed.

Emergency and utility services continue to work at the scene. Law enforcement agencies are documenting Russia's latest war crimes against the civilian population of the Odesa region.

As reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook, the Russian attack caused a large-scale fire in containers, including those with food products.

In the residential sector, buildings were destroyed, and private cars were damaged.

The State Emergency Service deployed 77 rescuers and 17 pieces of equipment to deal with the aftermath.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army once again shelled the port and port infrastructure of the Odesa region during the night.
