The Biden administration will announce another package of military assistance for Ukraine very soon.

White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said this at a press briefing on Monday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"You saw a package of assistance coming through the USAI program, announced at the end of the week. I think very, very soon you're going to see some additional drawdown packages coming from the United States," Kirby said.

He also noted that Washington knows exactly what Ukraine needs, including for its current counteroffensive operations.

"What we're going to stay focused on is making sure that Ukraine can succeed on the battlefield," Kirby said.

Last Friday, the U.S. administration announced a $2.1 billion military aid package for Ukraine under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
