Germany has no data on destruction of Leopard tanks in Ukraine
This was stated by Mitko Mueller, a representative of the German Ministry of Defense, at a briefing on Monday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent
"I do not have my own data. And I will not assess Russian statements," the officer said.
He also refused to comment on Russian allegations of damage to the radar of the German Iris-T air defense system.
The representative of the ministry also noted that the center for the repair of military equipment in Slovakia has already begun work.
Mueller reminded that Germany has been providing extensive support to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, including materials, military equipment, and training for Ukrainian soldiers. The assistance is provided in coordination with partners and allies and will continue to be provided.
As reported, Ukraine has launched a counteroffensive involving Leopard heavy offensive tanks supplied by Western partners. In particular, Germany handed over 18 Leopard two units to Kyiv.
Russian propagandists claimed that the first German Leopard 2 tanks were destroyed, but according to OSINT investigators, the tanks turned out to be agricultural machinery.
