Woman killed in Russian shelling of Beryslav district
"According to the investigation data, around 15:30 on June 8, 2023, the Russian army shelled Beryslav district. As a result of the shelling of one of the settlements, a woman was killed under the rubble of a house. Another local resident was injured," the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram.
According to preliminary data, Russian troops attacked the settlement with guided aerial bombs.
Under the procedural leadership of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported, nine people were injured, including two employees of the State Emergency Service, a police officer, a doctor, and a volunteer from Germany, in a Russian strike on Kherson during the evacuation of civilians.
