Russia increases number of missile carriers in Black Sea to four

The Russian Federation has increased the number of missile carriers in the Black Sea to four, putting the frigate Admiral Essen on combat duty.

The Operational Command South announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 18:00, there were 2 surface and 2 underwater missile carriers in the sea, with a total salvo of up to 24 Kalibr missiles," the report says.

The command warns that the threat of missile strikes remains extremely high.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of the morning of June 1, three enemy missile carriers were on combat duty in the Black Sea, with a total salvo of up to 16 Kalibr missiles.
