Russians shell 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region in past day

The Russian forces launched 69 attacks on 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region on May 30.

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy launched 69 strikes on 17 settlements in Vasylivka and Polohy districts," he said.

According to Malashko, Orikhiv and Zaliznychne came under enemy air strikes, while Huliaipole and Mala Tokmachka were shelled with MLRS four times.

The Russians also launched 63 artillery strikes on Olhivske, Novoandriivka, Huliaipilske, Malynivka, Temyrivka, Preobrazhenka, and Shcherbaky.

Civilians have not been injured. As many as 16 new cases of destruction of residential buildings and the remains of infrastructure objects were recorded in the frontline territory, the regional governor added.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army launched 64 air attacks, 1 missile strike, and carried out 88 MLRS attacks over the past day.
