In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian missile and artillery unites have hit three Russian personnel clusters, three enemy command posts and one deployed air defense missile system position.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops launched 40 air strikes and 12 missile strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 100 times.

In particular, enemy projectiles hit a 3-storey residential building in the city of Kramatorsk and caused damage to a building of the children’s educational institution ‘Zolota Rybka’ in the Odesa region’s Zatoka.

Russians also launched a missile strike on a civil infrastructure facility in the Kherson region’s Ivanivka. At least one detached house was damaged, and casualties among civilians were reported.

The threat of Russian missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.

The main objective of Russian troops is to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. For this purpose, the enemy is focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled over 90 enemy attacks in the aforementioned directions.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. Russian military units are remaining close to the state border of Ukraine, but no enemy offensive groupings were detected. At the same time, the Russian military continue hardening positions within the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy opened fire on the Chernihiv region’s Arkhypivka, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Kolos and Yeline, as well as nine settlements in the Sumy region and 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian invaders made unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces. The enemy launched artillery strikes on four settlements in the Kharkiv region and seven settlements in the Luhansk region, as well as the Donetsk region’s Spirne and Fedorivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops continue attempts to seize the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Yahidne, Khromove and Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Fifteen settlements came under enemy fire in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards the Donetsk region’s Kamianka, Nevelske, Novokalynove, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Pobieda and Vodiane. Sixteen settlements came under enemy fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russians were holding defense. The enemy opened fire on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and 20 settlements in the Kherson region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Prymiske and the Mykolaiv region’s Ochakiv.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched nine strikes on Russian personnel clusters, three strikes on air defense missile system positions, and three more strikes on other important targets.
