Number of those injured in Russia's shelling of Mykolaiv region rises to four

The number of people who were injured in Russia's March 13 shelling of the Kutsurub territorial community in the Mykolaiv region has increased to four.

The Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Two dead and four injured, including a seven-year-old child, due to shelling of the Kutsurub territorial community in the Mykolaiv region. On the morning of March 13, 2023, Russia's armed forces, disregarding the norms of international humanitarian law, carried out artillery shelling of the village of Solonchaky in the Kutsurub territorial community of the Mykolaiv district," the post reads.

According to the prosecutor's office, the parents of a seven-year-old boy were killed in the attack, and the child was hospitalized. Three more residents of the village were also taken to the hospital.

Earlier reports said that two people had been killed and three injured in Russia's shelling of the Mykolaiv region. Criminal proceedings have been launched into violation of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
