Five civilians injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Five civilians have been injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On February 24, 2023, Russians injured five civilians in the Donetsk region: two in Chasiv Yar, one in Bakhmut, one in Donetske and one in Kostiantynivka,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2023, Russian troops launched 27 air strikes and opened fire with MLRS 75 times. Peaceful settlements and civilians again were affected.
