Air Force of Ukraine launches 11 strikes on enemy positions

The Air Force of Ukraine launched nine strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment, as well as two strikes on the positions of their anti-aircraft missile systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports

"During the past day, the enemy launched six missile attacks and 24 air strikes. They carried out 75 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, on civilian objects in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions, there are victims among the civilian population," the report says.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, the General Staff warned.

The enemy continues to regroup in certain directions. They focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Novoselyvske, Kreminna and Dibrova in Luhansk region, as well as Verkhniokamianske, Vesele, Zaliznianske, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Paraskoviivka in Donetsk region.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, no offensive groups of the enemy were recorded. The areas of Popivka and Oleksandrivka in Sumy region and Strelecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Hatyshche, Vovchansk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region were shelled.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy used tanks, mortars, and artillery to shell the areas of Ivanivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka, and Kotliarivka in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, Terny in Donetsk region and Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova in Luhansk region came under enemy fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian forces shelled Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka and Ozarianivka.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian forces open fire on Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka.

 In the Novopavlivka direction, enemy shelling was recorded in Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Neskuchne in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the areas of 23 settlements came under enemy attack, including Novopil, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove in Zaporizhzhia, and Velykomykhaylivka in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the areas of 19 settlements came under mortar and artillery shelling. Among them are Hola Prystan, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Antonivka and Kherson.

The occupiers continue to suffer losses. To rehabilitate the wounded, disguised as civilians, the enemy set up another military hospital in Kherson region.

"During the day, aircraft of the Defense Forces launched nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, as well as two attacks on the positions of their anti-aircraft missile systems. Meanwhile, units of the rocket forces and artillery struck eight areas of concentration of enemy manpower," the General Staff concluded.

As reported, since February 24, 2022, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated about 132,160 Russian invaders.
