President’s Office: Missile strikes section with 72 apartments, there could be up to 200 people

A Russian missile hit a section with 72 apartments in the apartment block in Dnipro. 

According to the resident registers, 100-200 people (about 50 children) live there.

"A Russian missile hit a building with 16 sections and about 1,700 residents. The number of injured rose to 60, including 12 children. There are 72 apartments in the destroyed section. According to the information from the resident registers, 100-200 people (about 50 children) live there. These are scary numbers that the rescuers are focusing on while clearing away the rubble," Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko posted on Telegram.

Tymoshenko noted that currently the entire apartment block is without electricity, gas, and windows.

"In fact, more than 1,000 people need to be provided with housing and heat. Additional points of invincibility were immediately deployed nearby. All city and regional services are working and will definitely be working all night long. Our people are showing incredible mutual assistance! They are offering temporary housing and helping to clear rubble," Tymoshenko noted.

As reported, the Russians hit an apartment block in Dnipro city, destroying completely one section. People are under the rubble.
