Russian propaganda manipulates the topic of restoring the energy infrastructure of Ukraine after repeated shelling, claiming that the shutdown of the nuclear power plants was staged by Ukraine itself for the sake of "another financial tranche".

As reported by Ukrinform, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine announced this on Telegram.

The Russian media claimed that "the Ukrainian authorities have calculated how much money is needed to restore the energy infrastructure... Unfortunately, instead of money, transformers and generators are being sent... actually, the shutdown of the nuclear power plants was staged by Ukraine itself for the sake of getting another financial tranche."

CPD emphasizes: such messages of propagandists are pure manipulation.
