New Russia’ attack on Zaporizhzhia: apartment block destroyed in city center

Another apartment block was destroyed in Zaporizhzhia city center as a result of a Russian missile attack. Casualties have been reported.

"The enemy's terror goes on. Another apartment block was destroyed in a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia center. There are casualties," Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to Starukh, rescuers, healthcare staff and all relevant services are currently working at the site, providing people with the necessary assistance.

According to Anatoliy Kurtiev, Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, the entire entrance was destroyed.

"The ruscists hit the city's residential infrastructure again. The entire entrance was destroyed again," he posted on Telegram.

A fire broke out in the house. Appropriate services are at the site to put the fire out.

As reported, on the night of October 9, the invaders launched S-300 and Kh-22 missiles at the residential neighborhoods of Zaporizhzhia. Dozens of private houses, two apartment blocks, and other civilian infrastructure of the city came under fire.

It was reported that at least 14 civilians were killed, 60 more were injured.
