Armed Forces of Ukraine repel enemy attacks near seven localities in east

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks near seven populated localities in the east, damaged three enemy control points, and destroyed an enemy personnel deployment facility.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, September 3, published on Facebook.

"The units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and do not allow the enemy to advance deep into the territory of our state. The Defense Forces managed to successfully repel enemy attacks in the areas of the localities of Dolyna, Soledar, Novobakhmutivka, Kodema, Zaytseve, Avdiivka, Marinka," the report reads.

According to the General Staff data, during the day, Ukrainian aviation launched more than five strikes to support the actions of ground groups, during which enemy equipment, electronic warfare systems, air defense systems, and many servicemen were eliminated in Donetsk and Southern Buh directions.

The air defense units of the Ukrainian troops destroyed enemy helicopter, three UAVs, and five Kalibr cruise missiles in various directions.

According to the General Staff data, the missile and artillery troops of the Defense Forces damaged three enemy control points. One enemy personnel deployment facility was destroyed. It is noted that a unit of Russian special forces was in the affected area. Information on losses is being clarified.

In addition, electronic warfare equipment and ammunition depot were destroyed, which significantly limited the enemy's ability to conduct offensive operations.

According to the General Staff, the offensive and assault operations are ongoing in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. The enemy is actively using air defense systems to cover its troops. The enemy did not conduct active combat operations in Kramatorsk and Novopavlivka directions.

Today, the Russians have launched eight missile strikes and more than ten airstrikes on military and civilian objects in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, the infrastructure of the localities of Peremoha, Husarivka, Bilohirya, Pryshyb, Vremivka, Poltavka, Zaytseve, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Vodiane was affected. The enemy is actively conducting reconnaissance using UAVs.

At the same time, according to the General Staff data, the invaders strengthened the administrative and police regime in the localities on the banks of the Dnipro River and the defense of the coastline in the temporarily captured areas of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

In addition, state-run companies of the Russian Federation were given the new norms for the selection of "volunteers" for the war. In particular, the Russian Railways company received an order to search for up to 10,000 new candidates for a short-term contract among civilian employees, the General Staff reports.

At the same time, it is emphasized that there is still a threat of systematic massive airstrikes and missile strikes on military and critical infrastructure facilities throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The General Staff informs that the situation in Volyn and Polissya directions has no significant changes. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus check the readiness of field communication systems in preparation for the command and staff exercises.

In other directions, the enemy attacked military and civilian infrastructure using tanks, combat vehicles, tube and rocket artillery. In particular, in Siversky direction, three localities of Chernihiv region and one locality of Sumy region; in Kharkiv direction – the areas of Krasnopillia, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Ruska Lozova, Staryi Saltiv, Pryshyb, Husarivka, Nortsivka; in Slovyansk direction – Karnaukhivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha.

In Kramatorsk direction, Bohorodychne, Raihorodok, and Siversk came under fire;

in Bakhmut direction – Zaitseve, Kodema, Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Bakhmut; in Avdiivka direction – Novokalynove, Berdychi, Vodiane, Pervomaiske; in Novopavlivka direction – Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Paraskoviyivka, Zolota Nyva; in Zaporizhzhia region – Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, Huliaypole, Dorozhnianka, Uspenivka, Novopil, Vremivka, and others.

In Southern Buh direction, the enemy army opened fire along the entire contact line. In addition, the enemy conducted reconnaissance with the active use of UAVs, making more than 30 sorties in total, the General Staff informs.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 49,050 Russian soldiers from February 24 to September 3.
