Disinfo watchdog explains why Russian proxies from Luhansk, Donetsk, unwilling to fight Ukraine together

Ukrinform
The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council reported that those mobilized into the invasion forces as part of the so-called "LPR" refuse to fight against the Ukrainian troops on the territory of the neighboring "DPR," and vice versa.

That’s according to a report issued on Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

It is noted that there is a conditional division into "Donetsk" and "Luhansk," and that the latter consider their "military duty" already fulfilled. In their opinion, Donetsk region should be "liberated" by the "Donetsk" people themselves.

With similar motivation, a number of “DPR” fighters staged a riot and refused to fight for the so-called "LPR".

In addition, "volunteers" from both sides feel that they seen as "second class" people by Russian commanders, who deploy them in hostility zones beyond the “borders” of their regions. The aggressor uses them as "cannon fodder" to expose Ukrainian positions and ensure the further advance of Russian troops. While on the front line, Russian attack aircraft are used as “blocking means” to prevent proxy forces’ retreat.

Unlike the case of Russian contracted military, families of killed proxy fighters, mobilized in occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions, get miserable compensation. "Therefore, attempts by the Russian Federation to replenish their losses through "quiet mobilization" in the occupied Donbas will be met with more and more determined opposition, the watchdog states.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, citing Ukrainian intelligence, forcible mobilization in the occupied Donbas has in fact turned into slavery.
