Russian missile strike on Vinnytsia: 21 people killed, more than 50 hospitalized

The number of people killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on Vinnytsia city has increased to 21. More than 50 people have been hospitalized.

Serhiy Borzov, the Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Currently, 21 people, including three children, have died as a result of a rocket attack on the city. 90 people sought help from medical institutions. 51 people have been hospitalized. Rescue operations are ongoing," he said.

The regional governor emphasized that the victims were provided with all the necessary medicines.

According to Borzov, the missile strike hit the central square in Zamostianskyi district, where there were many people at the time of the attack. There was no military facility nearby, he stressed.

As reported, according to the Ukrainian Air Force Command, the Russian invaders hit the center of Vinnytsia with Kalibr cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the Black Sea.
