Zelensky holds meeting in Dnipropetrovsk region

President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting on the operational situation in the territory of the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to the president’s press service.

It is noted that the Head of State listened to the report by Commander of the Kakhovka operational group of troops, Brigadier General Mykhailo Drapatyi regarding the situation in the region, the state of affairs in military units and detachments.

The President was informed about the construction of defense structures, material and technical support of the troops.

In turn, Head of the Kryvyi Rih Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Vilkul informed about the functioning of the city under martial law, the interaction of utility enterprises with the military, and the supply of food and medicines to Kryvyi Rih.

He also touched upon humanitarian issues, in particular the creation of comfortable conditions and provision of everything necessary for temporarily displaced persons.

Separately, the parties discussed challenges faced by heavy industry enterprises in Kryvyi Rih in the conditions of martial law and the creation of conditions for resuming their full-fledged work.

As reported, in the morning of July 8, Russian troops shelled two communities in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
