Enemy trying to restrain Ukraine’s Armed Forces in Kharkiv region, preparing for offensive near Izium

"The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. The enemy focused its main efforts on Donetsk direction. In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tries to deter the offensive of Ukraine’s Defense Forces north of the city of Kharkiv and prevent them from reaching the state border of Ukraine. The invaders get ready for the offensive operations by the units amassed in the area of ​​ Izium," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

It is noted that the enemy's efforts are focused on striking the objects in the Eastern Operational Zone and industrial facilities in the depths of Ukraine.

In Volyn, Polissya and Siversky directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy reinforces the grouping of troops with special forces and air defense units.

In Kharkiv direction, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on maintaining their positions and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The enemy tried to fight in the direction of the village of Ternova but failed.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy replenishes its units, tries to resume the offensive.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck and destroyed a significant stockpile of ammunition at enemy depots in Izium.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy fired mortars, artillery, MLRS, and aircraft on the Ukrainian units.

In Lyman direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the area of ​​ Shandryholove village. In the direction of Lyman, the enemy tries to strengthen the grouping of its troops.

In Sievierodonetsk direction, the occupiers fought in the area of ​​ Borivske and suffered casualties.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy acted in the direction of Sukha Balka, firing cluster munitions on some of Ukrainian positions.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy is fighting in the area of Toshkivka and Pylypchatyne. In the area of ​​Hirske, the Russian occupiers suffered losses and retreated.

In Kurakhove direction, the enemy went on the offensive in the area of ​​Marinka and Novomykhailivka but failed.

In Mariupol, the enemy focused its efforts on blocking and defeating the Ukrainian units in the area of Azovstal steelworks, launching massive artillery and air strikes.

At the same time, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities in Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. The invaders fired on the civilian infrastructure in the area of Vremivka, Novosilka, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriyivka, launched an air strike on Malynivka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, firing artillery and mortars on civilian infrastructure in the area of Oleksandrivka, Shevchenkove, and Novovorontsovka.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the enemy's ammunition field depot near the settlement of Davydiv Brid.

According to the General Staff data, the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov continue performing tasks to isolate the area of hostilities, reconnoiter, and provide fire cover in Prymorsky direction.
