Forty-five civilian buildings destroyed in Donetsk region over past day

In Donetsk region, 45 civilian buildings were destroyed in Russian shelling over the past day, casualties were reported. 

"The occupiers fired on five settlements: Mariupol, Avdiivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka. Residential buildings, an enterprise, an administrative building, and critical infrastructure objects were destroyed. The enemy fired on civilians from aircraft, tanks, and heavy artillery," the press service of the National Police of Ukraine posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

The police launched a pre-trial investigation under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, Russian troops made repeated but unsuccessful assault attempts in the area of Novomykhaylivka, Donetsk region. At night, the enemy used phosphorous munitions in the area of Svitlodarsk. The evacuation of people from the frontline zone continues.
