Russia continues offensive in Donetsk and Luhansk regions

The enemy continues its offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and to hold the land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea.

“In Volyn, Polissia, and Siversky directions, the situation did not change significantly, no signs of the formation of the enemy offensive groups were detected,” reads the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy systematically opened artillery fire, in particular, from multiple launch rocket systems, on Kharkiv, Derhachi, and Prudianka.

In Izium – Barvinkove direction, the occupiers attempted to advance in the area of Nova Dmytrivka. They failed, suffered losses, and retreated.

In Donetsk and Tavriysky directions, the enemy continues to fire mortars and artillery on Ukrainian positions along the line of contact.

The enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to break through Ukraine’s defenses in the area of Kurakhove.

In Southern Buh area, the units of the occupying force, under cover of artillery fire, continue to improve the engineering equipment of the positions, replenish logistics, conduct air reconnaissance.

The occupiers tried to improve the tactical position of their troops in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. They failed, suffered losses, and retreated.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already eliminated about 22,400 Russian invaders.
