Russian military abduct village head in Zaporizhzhia Region

The Russian military have abducted Ivan Malieiev, the head of the village of Kyrylivka, Zaporizhzhia Region.

Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration has confirmed this information but has not provided further details, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Melitopol’s local publication, Russian military vehicles encircled the village. Russian troops went from house to house. Allegedly, they were looking for fishermen.

Earlier, Ivan Malieiev refused to cooperate with Russian occupiers. Last time Russians entered the village on March 25, 2022.
