The relevant statement was made by Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russian invaders are preventing humanitarian goods from being delivered to Kherson Region, and are sending the looted items, food products, agricultural machinery and equipment to the temporarily occupied Crimea,” Denisova told.

Denisova mentioned the stores, offices, homes robbed by Russian invaders, as well as the mass abduction and torturing of local activities, former ATO/JFO participants, law enforcement officers.

According to Denisova, terror, inhuman treatment and killings of civilians within the occupied territories are a war crime under the Charter of the International Military Tribunal and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, as well as a violation of the Geneva Conventions on the protection of civilian persons in time of war.

Denisova appealed to the UN Commission for Investigation into Human Rights Violations during Russia’s Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these war crimes and crimes against human rights, which are committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
