Russia's invasion of Ukraine: 41 countries have already appealed to ICC

As many as 41 countries have already appealed to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in support of Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova said this in a statement posted on Twitter.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine united the world legal community. 41 States referred the situation in Ukraine to the ICC. We are actively working to establish an international investigation team with partner countries," Venediktova wrote.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
