War update: 129 attacks since morning, Pokrovsk sector remains most active

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 16:00 on Sunday, February 15, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy continues attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory. The Defense Forces are holding them back, inflicting significant losses along various sections of the front line and exhausting them along the entire line of contact and in the rear.

Today, Russian forces once again shelled Ukraine's border areas. Rogizne, Ryzhivka, Prohres, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Budky, Kucherivka, Kruzhok, and Novovasylivka in the Sumy region, as well as Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Buchky, Lyskivshchyna, Plokhiv, and Yasna Poliana in the Chernihiv region, came under enemy fire.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the invaders shelled populated areas and Defense Forces' positions 78 times, including twice with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops carried out two attacks toward Veterynarne and Vovchanski Khutory but made no new attempts to improve their positions.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted once to advance near Pishchane.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Stavky and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops tried four times to advance toward Yampil, Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders have not attempted any offensives so far today.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 26 assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka. One attack is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made 43 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Zatyshok, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Novomykolaivka, Filiia, and Dachne. Ukrainian Defense Forces have already stopped 39 of these attacks.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the Russian army launched 15 assaults toward Zelenyi Hai, Ivanivka, Oleksandrohrad, Yehorivka, Vyshneve, Oleksiivka, Verbove, Stepove, Danylivka, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.

Enemy aircraft carried out strikes in the areas of Novoukrainka and Velykomykhailivka.
