Internally displaced persons from Mariupol managed to leave the city in private cars and arrived in Zaporizhia.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said this in a video address.

''A [Mariupol-bound] humanitarian aid convoy with medicines and water remains blocked in the city of Berdiansk. Today, almost 150 cars managed to leave Mariupol via the same route," she said.

People were met in Zaporizhia and placed in a hub for IDPs, which is ready to receive those in need of shelter around the clock. If necessary, they will receive help from doctors and psychologists.
