Over the two weeks of war in Donetsk region, Russian invaders have destroyed and damaged more than 400 infrastructure facilities.

"Russia is destroying Donetsk region! Now it is impossible to count everything that the Russians ruined in Mariupol and Volnovakha. When this information is established, the overall list will be much, much longer. But even without that, over the two weeks of the war, the Russian occupiers have destroyed and damaged more than 400 infrastructure facilities in the region," Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Facebook.

According to him, 34 power supply facilities, 16 gas supply facilities, 8 water supply facilities, 9 healthcare institutions, 2 educational institutions, 13 bridges (12 of them were completely destroyed), 248 apartment blocks, and 127 private houses were damaged.

“We will restore everything. The main thing is to save the lives of our compatriots. We work on this around the clock. And let the Russians already learn the word ‘reparation’. They will pay for everything!” Kyrylenko stressed.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the start of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops simultaneously crossed Ukrainian borders from the north, east, and Crimea. They are ruining cities, killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit Ukrainians' homes. Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
