The Russian leadership wants to take away part of Ukrainian territory and destabilize the government.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, stated this at a briefing on Thursday, February 24, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Two tactical goals. The first is to take away part of the territory in the east, a little above Sumy, Kharkiv and a little below - this is the south. [The second is] to inflict the strongest possible blow on the country's leadership and thus provoke chaos and provoke the impossibility of governing the country. These are the key tasks, as we already understand, from the point of view of planning a military operation by the Russian Federation," Podoliak said.

According to him, therefore, mobilization is necessary, as well as martial law. The military cabinet and the economic cabinet are in constant operation, and the president is in talks with world leaders.
