First Ukrainian-language audio guide launched in Greece

As part of the initiative of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, the 28th Ukrainian-language audio guide was launched. From now on, the Ukrainian language can be heard on the GRAY LINE tourist bus routes of the Athens Open Tour Greek company.

This is the first Ukrainian-language audio guide in Greece, Ukrinform reports with reference to the website of the President’s Office.

“I have repeatedly emphasized that audio guides are an important part of the development of cultural diplomacy. When a blue-and-yellow flag is added to the main list of available languages ​​in international institutions, this indicates the spread of the Ukrainian language around the world,” Zelenska said.

GRAY LINE tourist routes operate in Athens, Piraeus, and Athens Riviera. The launch of the audio guide in Greece was made possible by the cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine and the Athens Open Tour Greek company.

Earlier, Zelenska presented Ukrainian-language audio guides at the Tower of London, the Sanssouci Palace in Germany, a fortress in East Africa, and 24 more cultural and historical monuments. The network of such audio guides is part of the cultural diplomacy project run by the President's wife to promote and expand the use of the Ukrainian language abroad.
