Employees of Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) conducted searches at the premises of businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Tymur Mindich, as well as at Justice Minister German Galushchenko, who previously served as minister of energy.
A well-informed source in law enforcement agencies reported this to Ukrinform.
"NABU conducted searches at the premises of businessman and co-owner of the 'Kvartal 95' studio, Tymur Mindich, as well as at Justice Minister German Galushchenko, who previously served as minister of energy. The investigative actions took place in a case concerning the exposure of schemes in the energy sector," the agency's source said.
As reported earlier, NABU stated that it was conducting a special operation to uncover corruption in the energy sector.
According to the bureau, members of a criminal organization built a large-scale corruption scheme to influence strategic enterprises in the state sector, including National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom.
