Russian forces attack gas station area in Kharkiv region, fire breaks out
Russian forces struck a vehicle near a gas station with a drone in the Izium district, Kharkiv region, causing a fire.
Vitalii Karabanov, head of the Balakliia City Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, another act of armed aggression by the Russian Federation was recorded in our community. Near the village of Volokhiv Yar in the Balakliia community, an enemy UAV (type being identified) struck a vehicle parked near a gas station. As a result of the attack, the gas station building was also damaged. A fire broke out following the impact," Karabanov said.
Information about possible casualties is still being clarified, he added.
On June 1, Russian forces struck a gas station in Kharkiv, injuring a 37-year-old worker. The Lozova community in the Kharkiv region was also targeted, with impacts recorded near a gas station and a service station.
