Zelensky warns Russia preparing strikes on Ukrainian missile developers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that one of the key targets for future Russian military, political, and propaganda attacks could be Ukrainian companies involved in the development of missile technologies.

The Ukrainian leader announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Report by the Chief of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, Oleh Ivashchenko. Details regarding Russia's missile production – facilities, distances, quantities, supply routes for critical components and machine tools, as well as individuals and companies from other countries helping Russia circumvent sanctions. We are preparing updates to our countermeasures – both Ukrainian and those coordinated with our partners. It is important that pressure on Russia continues to increase," Zelensky wrote.

He noted that one of the key directions selected for future Russian strikes against Ukraine – military, political, and propaganda alike – involves Ukrainian companies demonstrating progress in the development of all types of missile technologies.

"Russia views this as a strategic threat to itself – Ukraine's capability to develop its own ballistic system and localize the production of antiballistic defense. We will respond," Zelensky said.

As previously reported, six people were killed and 81 injured in Russia's massive June 2 attack on Kyiv.
