Air Defense Forces shot down 78 of the 83 Russian drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 83 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of dummy drones from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 78 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (and other types of drones) in the north, south, east, and center of the country.

Five drones were recorded hitting three locations, with debris from the downed drones falling in two locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, debris from enemy drones was found in the Kremenchuk and Poltava districts of the Poltava Region. Four private houses and three farm buildings were damaged.
