Five civilians killed, nine injured as enemy strikes Bakhmut with Grad MLRS

Five civilians were killed and nine more were injured as the Russians struck Bakhmut, Donetsk region, with tube artillery and Grad MLRS on February 16.

As the Prosecutor General's Office posted this on Telegram, pre-trial investigations were opened into violations of the laws and customs of war (Parts 1, 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation data, the troops of the aggressor state shelled the city of Bakhmut with tube artillery and Grad MLRS on February 16.

The invaders' shells once again hit a residential neighborhood of the city.

Three men and two women were killed in the Russian attack. Nine citizens received shrapnel injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Many residential buildings were damaged.

At present, the invaders continue to shell the city.

As reported, 36 clashes took place in the area of Bakhmut area during the day, and almost 120 invaders were killed.
