Air raid alerts declared in several regions due to threat of drones
Air raid warnings were announced across a number of regions in Ukraine because of the threat posed by drones.
This according the Air Raid Alert Map, Ukrinform reports.
At 13:21 on Sunday the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Telegram that enemy drones had been detected in eastern Kyiv region heading toward Boryspil and the capital, as well as in northern and central Chernihiv region moving toward Snovsk, Nizhyn, and Kozelets.
Later, the military also warned about Russian UAVs heading toward the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions, as well as toward Kherson.
At 14:07, the Kyiv City Military Administration announced the end of the air raid alert.
"At 17:05, an air raid alert sounded in Kyiv due to the threat of enemy UAVs," the Kyiv City Military Administration reported. At 17:15, the all-clear was announced in Kyiv.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on the morning of May 17, air defense forces were engaging enemy targets in the sky over the Kyiv region.
