As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Zaporizhia NPP has been temporarily seized by Russian troops since March 4. Apart from the Russian military, Russia’s Rosatom nuclear operator's officials have long been illegally deployed at the ZNPP site.

As a result of an attack by the Russian military and the capture of ZNPP, two people were killed and the facility suffered damage.

Ukraine’s law enforcers have formally charged a Russian general, who was directly involved in the ZNPP seizure.
