Specialists from the State Special Transport Service, on assignment from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, are continuing to install anti-drone protection in frontline areas of the Donetsk region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov on Facebook.

“The enemy is actively using FPV drones to attack transport and civilian vehicles. That is why we are strengthening security and deploying anti-drone structures along key routes. We are currently building more than 25 km of anti-drone protection on two strategically important directions in the Donetsk region. Work is progressing at a pace of about 1 km per day. By the end of the month, we plan to fully cover these sections,” Fedorov said.

According to him, “protecting logistics routes in frontline regions is a systematic effort. Since the beginning of the year, 371 km of anti-drone structures have already been installed in seven regions: Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.”

“Anti-drone nets increase the safety of military movement and ensure the stable functioning of frontline communities. Protected logistics and saved lives are our priority,” Fedorov emphasized.
