Russian occupation forces lose their positions south of Bakhmut and withdraw to the Bakhmut-Horlivka highway, while the Defense Forces of Ukraine gain a foothold in the area of the railway near Klishchiyivka.
Russians losing their positions south of Bakhmut
The Defense Forces of Ukraine have partial success in the area west of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region, where they have advanced nearly 1 km.
The Russian occupiers launched another strike on Ukraine at night, using Kh-59 guided missile, S-300 anti-aircraft missiles and six Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Kh-59 missile and all six drones were destroyed by the air defense forces and means.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 50 enemy attacks in the Kupiansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Shakhtarske and Zaporizhzhia sectors.

Over the past week, Russian troops launched 21 missile strikes, 432 airstrikes, 386 MLRS attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian infrastructure objects. As a result of these attacks, nearly 30 civilians were killed.
