Ukraine's defense forces on Wednesday repelled seven enemy assaults on the east bank of the Dnipro River and more than 50 attacks in the other seven sectors, most of them in Avdiivka and Marinka.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated over 70 occupiers, destroyed 11 cannons, 1 electronic warfare system and 3 ammunition depots in the country’s south.
The enemy has amassed about 50,000 troops in the Avdiivka sector. If the enemy cuts off logistics supply routes to Avdiivka, the Defense Forces Command has provided for backup supply lines.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov have made important decisions aimed at strengthening Ukraine's combat capabilities following their trip to the Avdiivka and Kupiansk sectors.
