According to Ukrinform, Svyrydenko announced the meeting on Telegram.

"Today, I met with Czech Prime Minister Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš on the sidelines of URC 2026. We discussed Ukraine’s progress on the path toward EU membership and emphasized the importance of opening all remaining negotiating clusters as soon as possible," she said.

According to the Prime Minister, special attention was given to the participation of Czech businesses in Ukraine's reconstruction and the possibility of organizing a visit by Czech companies to launch new investment projects.

"I thanked the Czech Republic for standing with Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion and for the support the Czech people have provided during our country’s most difficult times," Svyrydenko concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, the fifth Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 opened in Gdańsk, Poland, on Thursday. This year's conference is organized around five thematic areas: business, security and defense, European Union integration, regional development, and human capital.

During the opening of the two-day forum, Svyrydenko announced that agreements worth EUR 10 billion are expected to be signed on the conference sidelines. She also said that the first EUR 3.2 billion tranche from the European Union's EUR 90 billion loan package is expected to be disbursed.
