Iceland makes new contribution to Ukraine Energy Support Fund

Iceland has contributed €2.7 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

“Iceland has allocated an additional €2.7 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The country’s total contribution has now exceeded €8.4 million,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the additional resources will help carry out planned and emergency repairs, strengthen infrastructure protection, build reserves, and respond quickly to the needs of energy companies.

As reported earlier, Sweden has allocated an additional €56 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
