Russian forces destroyed or damaged over 12,000 residential buildings in Dnipropetrovsk region
Yurii Papusha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, reported the figures in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Across the Dnipropetrovsk region, over 12,000 private and multi-apartment residential buildings have been destroyed or damaged. Schools, kindergartens, and universities—373 educational institutions in total—have come under attack. The enemy has ruined 85 hospitals and other medical facilities, depriving people of access to care,” Papusha said.
He added that 27 cultural sites and 36 churches and religious buildings—places of memory, faith, and spiritual support for communities—were also affected.
According to Papusha, 2,208 gas, water, and electricity supply facilities in the region have been hit. “This means thousands of families left without heat, light, or water. Russian shelling is a pain felt by every community in the region,” Papusha emphasized.
As previously reported, in the Donetsk region from February 2022 to December 1, 2025, Russian forces completely destroyed or damaged more than 73,000 infrastructure facilities, including over 57,000 residential homes.
