Ukrinform
The representatives of Ukraine and the Republic of Korea have signed a protocol on joint efforts to restore the port infrastructure.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) State Enterprise, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The corresponding agreements were reached during a working meeting as part of the Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed between the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea.

The discussion focused primarily on the strategic areas of the sustainable development of Ukrainian ports. The Korean side was presented a report on the development of the Master Plan and feasibility study for the reconstruction of Ukrainian ports.

The discussion revolved around three priorities: port infrastructure restoration; specialized fleet modernization; and the implementation of modern electronic management systems.

“Following the meeting, the parties signed a protocol and agreed on joint efforts to implement projects, seek funding, and determine practical steps,” the USPA noted.

A reminder that Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) State Enterprise presented the investment opportunities of the port industry at the Polish-Ukrainian Business Forum in Odesa.
