Ukraine's Yastremska reaches semi-finals of Australian Open

Ukraine's Dayana Yastremska has advanced to the semi-finals of the Australian Open, defeating the Czech Republic's Linda Noskova 6-3, 6-4.

According to Ukrinform, the match lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The Ukrainian won her eighth consecutive match at the tournament as a qualifier.

Yastremska will play against the winner of the quarter-final tie between China's Zheng Qinwen and Russia's Anna Kalinskaya.

Yastremska became the first Ukrainian tennis player to reach the semi-finals in Melbourne, and the second - after Elina Svitolina - to reach the semi-finals of a Grand Slam tournament.
