Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has retained his world heavyweight titles after beating Briton Anthony Joshua in the second boxing match (rematch).

The fight, which took place in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), brought success to Usyk by a split decision of the judges - 113:115, 115:113, 116:112, Ukrinform reports.

Usyk retained his world heavyweight titles in the World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) versions.

As a reminder, last autumn Usyk defeated Joshua by a unanimous decision of the judges, winning all the championship belts off the British boxer.
