Tokyo Paralympics: Canoeist Yemelianov wins gold

Ukrainian canoeist Serhii Yemelianov has won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan).

The athlete finished first in the men's canoe sprint in the KL3 class, according to Ukrinform.

Yemelianov covered the 200m distance in 40.355 seconds.

Another Ukrainian Paralympian, Mykola Syniuk, took silver in the men's canoe sprint KL2.

Ukraine's Paralympic team has already won 87 medals, including 21 gold, 41 silver, and 25 bronze medals.
