Tokyo Olympics: Horuna wins bronze in men's kumite

Ukrainian karateka Stanislav Horuna has claimed a bronze medal in the men's 75kg kumite at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In the semifinals, the Ukrainian lost 0-3 to two-time world champion Luigi Busa of Italy, Ukrinform reports.

In the group stage, Horuna defeated Japanese Ken Nishimura (2-1), American Thomas Scott (2-1), drew with Hungarian Gabor Harspataki (0-0), and lost to Egyptian Abdalla Abdelaziz (1-4), taking second place in his group.

Team Ukraine has already collected 14 medals at the Tokyo Olympics, including one gold, three silver and ten bronze medals.
