Ukraine to build relations with Qatar in youth and sports spheres

Ukraine will build bilateral relations with Qatar in the field of youth, physical education and sports.

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the youth and sports spheres between the two countries' governments was signed in Doha, Qatar, on April 5, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine reported.

"According to the memorandum, bilateral Ukrainian-Qatari ties in the field of youth, physical education and sports will be developed both through the central executive bodies and through the interaction of public youth and sports organizations," the report said.

The document was developed and concluded in order to create the regulatory framework for bilateral cooperation in the youth sphere, the field of sports and the development of cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the State of Qatar.

A number of important bilateral documents were signed on April 5 as part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's official visit to the State of Qatar.
